Professional Bio
Victor Hernandez graduated with a BA in philosophy and psychology in 2022 from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. He is interested In continental philosophy, especially discussions of The Event, Schelling (esp. his thought on temporality, evil, identity, and the Absolute), existentialism, phenomenology, and decolonial philosophy. He has published on Heidegger and Fanon in The Reed Journal of Existentialism and is currently co-authoring an article for publication with Marcela García-Romero that provides a new understanding of the relation of past, present, and the Absolute in Schelling’s Ages of the World.
