Professional Bio

Tyrique graduated maxima cum laude from La Salle University in May 2023 with a BA in Philosophy and a minor in English. Drawing on the work of Frantz Fanon, Jean-Paul Sartre, Maurice Merleau-Ponty, and Karl Marx, he situates himself at the intersection of existential phenomenology, critical philosophy of race, and Marxist critical theory. In general, he works within the tradition of Continental Philosophy. Paying close attention to the categories of race and class, the aim of his work is to develop a description of our lived experiences that adequately accounts for the social, political, and cultural dimensions that define them.
