Professional Bio
I am currently an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Department of Philosophy at Pennsylvania State University. From 2018-2021 I was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Philosophy at Purdue University. In addition, I held a joint appointment in the university’s Cornerstone Integrated Liberal Arts Program. My research primarily concerns issues of predication, participation, and paradeigmatism in Plato’s dialogues. My interests range widely, however, including the 5th Century BCE Atomists Leucippus and Democritus, as well as the therapeutic dimension to philosophy in the Hellenistic period.
