Professional Bio
Kaílah Jeffries (they/them) is a fourth-year PhD student of Philosophy. Holding a Bachelor's in Philosophy and Liberal Studies from Georgia College and State University (2021) and a Master's in Philosophy from Penn State University (2023), Kaílah's research interests include Black Feminist Philosophy, the Philosophy of Race, and Social and Political Philosophy.
Currently, Kaílah is exploring the philosophical implications of Black feminist archival methodologies as tools of resistance, refusal, and redress for the historically dispossessed. Their work delves into the ways in which these methodologies challenge traditional historical narratives and offer alternative perspectives on power, knowledge, and freedom.
