Professional Bio
I am pursuing Penn State’s Dual-Title Ph.D. in Philosophy and African American and Diaspora Studies. I hold a B.A. in Philosophy with double minors in Social Welfare and Justice and Criminology and Law Studies from Marquette University. My academic journey has led me to develop a keen interest in Social and Political Philosophy, Critical Theory, Black Feminism, African American Philosophy, and Carceral Studies. In particular, I am eager to continue research on black self-determination, misogynoir, relational theory, and critical resistance.
