Professional Bio

Cole C. De Jager is a PhD student in Philosophy. He earned a B.A. (Combined Honors) in Contemporary Studies and History from the University of King’s College/Dalhousie University in 2021, and an M.A. in Philosophy from the University of Western Ontario in 2022. His master's research paper focused on Arthur Schopenhauer’s theory of aesthetic perception. Historically, his research interests are in Kant and post-Kantian German philosophy; systematically, he is interested in aesthetics, philosophy of perception, and political and legal philosophy.
