Russell Clarke

Professional Bio

Russell Clarke is a Ph.D. student in philosophy at Penn State. His interests cover the gamut of social and political philosophy and theory with his main focuses being critical theory, social epistemology, Marxism and post-marxism. Russell's previous work has also dealt with an array of topics within Continental philosophy such as phenomenology and existentialism as well as the history of political thought, namely German idealist thinkers such as Hegel, Kant, and Axel Honneth. His current research will broach the intersection of critical theory, social knowledge, and the ethics of political resistance and social transformation.
